Using the basic principles of pilates, (length, breath, core stability, alignment) we work on toning, stretching, and sculpting the body all with he help of stretch bands ( the flat therapy type resistance bands). Improve your posture, tone your muscles, strengthen your core in this 45 minute mat pilates class. Learn to exercise with control and fluidity. When done correctly, pilates will change your body and your mind by creating body awareness and confidence.
You must have your own mat and your own band to participate. No bands will be provided or shared during class. You might also want to bring a towel you can roll up to sit on when we are doing seated exercises.
There will be a maximum of 12 people for this class.
