Please join Janis Copes & Alex Esandrio from Escape the Crate, LLC for this informative 6 week  course designed to help you, the handler, learn how to get the behavior you want from your dog using positive reinforcement techniques.  These classes will give you the tools for solving problems such as housebreaking, chewing, mouthing, jumping and more.  Lessons will include teaching sit, down, come, stay, walk on loose lead, and interact with people without jumping. The goal is to teach your dog to be a polite family member. Advanced registration is required. No refunds are given for classes missed.  Dogs are required to be vaccinated against rabies as per CT State Law. Vaccinations against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and Bordetella are also recommended.  Proof of Rabies vaccination is required prior to the first class.  No dog will be allowed in class without up-to-date Rabies vaccination.  Equipment required:  Flat buckle collar or front clip harness (no choke, prong or e-collars allowed), 6 foot leash and yummy treats. MAX (4) DOGS ALL REGISTRATION FORMS AND CERTIFICATE OF RABIES MUST BE GIVEN TO THE PARK & RECREATION OFFICE BEFORE THE 1ST CLASS.

Ninjatrix is the newest sport discipline encompassing Martial Arts, Gymnastics and Parkour skills!  Our program was developed by lifelong martial artists, gymnastics coaches and parkour enthusiasts to great a totally news, totally engaging, totally crazy fun sport.  Your kid may just be the next Ninja Warrior!  In each class, our Ninjas will go through all three segments of Ninja Training.Martial ArtsOur Ninjas will begin their path with foundational martial arts skills taught in a fun, safe and challenging environment.  The martial arts skills taught will lay the foundation for a well-rounded Ninja, while building the confidence to take on the next Ninja challenge!GymnasticsEvery Ninja needs gymnastics skills!  Our Ninjas will progress through the Ninja Levels while learning tumbling skills to increase body awareness, physical strength, fitness levels, balance, and coordination skills.  Ninjas will progress through these skills while gaining new-found confidence and having a great time!ParkourParkour is the sport of moving rapidly through an area while negotiating obstacles by running, jumping and climbing.  Our Ninjas will learn parkour techniques to navigate through obstacle courses designed to keep them challenged, smiling and wanting to step up to their next Ninja Level!Our Lil' Ninjas Classes are for ages 4 to 6 years old!  They are designed to entertain, excite and motivate our Lil's while learning foundational skills in all three sports, Martial Arts, Gymnastics and  Parkour.  Your Ninja will fine tune motor skills with our challenging, fun classes while developing that positive Ninja Trait of  "CAN DO."

5:00 PM - 5:45 PM    Senior Get Fit Class - Senior Get Fit Class-Mondays
Senior Get Fit Class (Seniors at all fitness levels. Work at your pace and ability.)This 45 minute class is a combination of low intensity cardio, strength training (light weights), stretching and toning all set to music from the 50's and 60's!This is a great class to add to your current activities and is meant for all Seniors at all fitness levels.  Most of the class is done standing.  There are a few times we sit and work with the weights while sitting in a chair. This is a fun class that will leave you energized and feeling strong!Bring light hand weights and water to each class.There will be a maximum of 20 people for this class.

The Pilates Arc is a piece of equipment inspired by Joseph Pilates' original spine corrector.  Designed for comfort and support, the Arc may help relieve back pain by improving posture, building flexibility, and correcting spinal alignment.  Additional benefits include enhanced coordination and balance, breath awareness, proper alignment of the spine and deep abdominal strength.  These all lead to daily life improvements like better posture, gracefulness, efficient movement and relief from pain associated from physical imbalances.  During this class your will perform traditional pilates matwork exercises with the added benefits of the arc barrel.  Please bring a yoga/pilates mat.  Grip socks are recommended.  Limit 6 people

Please join Janis Copes & Alex Esandrio from Escape the Crate, LLC for this informative 6 week  course designed to help you, the handler, learn how to get the behavior you want from your dog using positive reinforcement techniques.  These classes will give you the tools for solving problems such as housebreaking, chewing, mouthing, jumping and more.  Lessons will include teaching sit, down, come, stay, walk on loose lead, and interact with people without jumping. The goal is to teach your dog to be a polite family member. Advanced registration is required. No refunds are given for classes missed.  Dogs are required to be vaccinated against rabies as per CT State Law. Vaccinations against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, parainfluenza, and Bordetella are also recommended.  Proof of Rabies vaccination is required prior to the first class.  No dog will be allowed in class without up-to-date Rabies vaccination.  Equipment required:  Flat buckle collar or front clip harness (no choke, prong or e-collars allowed), 6 foot leash and yummy treats. Senior Get Fit Class (Seniors at all fitness levels. Work at your pace and ability.)This 45 minute class is a combination of low intensity cardio, strength training (light weights), stretching and toning all set to music from the 50's and 60's!This is a great class to add to your current activities and is meant for all Seniors at all fitness levels.  Most of the class is done standing.  There are a few times we sit and work with the weights while sitting in a chair. This is a fun class that will leave you energized and feeling strong!Bring light hand weights and water to each class.There will be a maximum of 20 people for this class.

Ninjatrix is the newest sport discipline encompassing Martial Arts, Gymnastics and Parkour skills!  Our program was developed by lifelong martial artists, gymnastics coaches and parkour enthusiasts to great a totally news, totally engaging, totally crazy fun sport.  Your kid may just be the next Ninja Warrior!  In each class, our Ninjas will go through all three segments of Ninja Training.Martial ArtsOur Ninjas will begin their path with foundational martial arts skills taught in a fun, safe and challenging environment.  The martial arts skills taught will lay the foundation for a well-rounded Ninja, while building the confidence to take on the next Ninja challenge!GymnasticsEvery Ninja needs gymnastics skills!  Our Ninjas will progress through the Ninja Levels while learning tumbling skills to increase body awareness, physical strength, fitness levels, balance, and coordination skills.  Ninjas will progress through these skills while gaining new-found confidence and having a great time!ParkourParkour is the sport of moving rapidly through an area while negotiating obstacles by running, jumping and climbing.  Our Ninjas will learn parkour techniques to navigate through obstacle courses designed to keep them challenged, smiling and wanting to step up to their next Ninja Level!Our Lil' Ninjas Classes are for ages 4 to 6 years old!  They are designed to entertain, excite and motivate our Lil's while learning foundational skills in all three sports, Martial Arts, Gymnastics and  Parkour.  Your Ninja will fine tune motor skills with our challenging, fun classes while developing that positive Ninja Trait of  "CAN DO."

Senior Get Fit Class (Seniors at all fitness levels. Work at your pace and ability.)This 45 minute class is a combination of low intensity cardio, strength training (light weights), stretching and toning all set to music from the 50's and 60's!This is a great class to add to your current activities and is meant for all Seniors at all fitness levels.  Most of the class is done standing.  There are a few times we sit and work with the weights while sitting in a chair. This is a fun class that will leave you energized and feeling strong!Bring light hand weights and water to each class.There will be a maximum of 20 people for this class.

The Pilates Arc is a piece of equipment inspired by Joseph Pilates' original spine corrector.  Designed for comfort and support, the Arc may help relieve back pain by improving posture, building flexibility, and correcting spinal alignment.  Additional benefits include enhanced coordination and balance, breath awareness, proper alignment of the spine and deep abdominal strength.  These all lead to daily life improvements like better posture, gracefulness, efficient movement and relief from pain associated from physical imbalances.  During this class your will perform traditional pilates matwork exercises with the added benefits of the arc barrel.  Please bring a yoga/pilates mat.  Grip socks are recommended.  Limit 6 people

Senior Get Fit Class (Seniors at all fitness levels. Work at your pace and ability.)This 45 minute class is a combination of low intensity cardio, strength training (light weights), stretching and toning all set to music from the 50's and 60's!This is a great class to add to your current activities and is meant for all Seniors at all fitness levels.  Most of the class is done standing.  There are a few times we sit and work with the weights while sitting in a chair. This is a fun class that will leave you energized and feeling strong!Bring light hand weights and water to each class.There will be a maximum of 20 people for this class.

The Pilates Arc is a piece of equipment inspired by Joseph Pilates' original spine corrector.  Designed for comfort and support, the Arc may help relieve back pain by improving posture, building flexibility, and correcting spinal alignment.  Additional benefits include enhanced coordination and balance, breath awareness, proper alignment of the spine and deep abdominal strength.  These all lead to daily life improvements like better posture, gracefulness, efficient movement and relief from pain associated from physical imbalances.  During this class your will perform traditional pilates matwork exercises with the added benefits of the arc barrel.  Please bring a yoga/pilates mat.  Grip socks are recommended.  Limit 6 people

Ninjatrix is the newest sport discipline encompassing Martial Arts, Gymnastics and Parkour skills!  Our program was developed by lifelong martial artists, gymnastics coaches and parkour enthusiasts to great a totally news, totally engaging, totally crazy fun sport.  Your kid may just be the next Ninja Warrior!  In each class, our Ninjas will go through all three segments of Ninja Training.Martial ArtsOur Ninjas will begin their path with foundational martial arts skills taught in a fun, safe and challenging environment.  The martial arts skills taught will lay the foundation for a well-rounded Ninja, while building the confidence to take on the next Ninja challenge!GymnasticsEvery Ninja needs gymnastics skills!  Our Ninjas will progress through the Ninja Levels while learning tumbling skills to increase body awareness, physical strength, fitness levels, balance, and coordination skills.  Ninjas will progress through these skills while gaining new-found confidence and having a great time!ParkourParkour is the sport of moving rapidly through an area while negotiating obstacles by running, jumping and climbing.  Our Ninjas will learn parkour techniques to navigate through obstacle courses designed to keep them challenged, smiling and wanting to step up to their next Ninja Level!Our Lil' Ninjas Classes are for ages 4 to 6 years old!  They are designed to entertain, excite and motivate our Lil's while learning foundational skills in all three sports, Martial Arts, Gymnastics and  Parkour.  Your Ninja will fine tune motor skills with our challenging, fun classes while developing that positive Ninja Trait of  "CAN DO."
